JIM CLARK & RENAULD

Jim Clark was a unique racing driver winning the Formula 1 World Championship in 1963 and 1965 as well as the Indy 500 in the same year. He was and remains the only the driver to win both the Indy 500 and Formula 1 championship in the same year.

At the end of 2020 Renauld was approached by an author writing a book on Jim Clark who had unearthed some rare photos of Jim wearing the Sixty-One model. After some indepth investigation it seems that Jim only ever wore this Renauld Model.

By coincidence we were also approached by the world famous motoring photographer, Peter Darley, who had photographes of Sir John Whitmore wearing his Renauld Sixty-Ones in the same period. Below are selection of these images which are all subject to our copyright.
