The Elvis Tupelo - Cool Grey
Throughout the early 60s, Elvis was an enthusiastic fan of Renauld. Recently, several new images of him have been found wearing Renauld at various filming locations and events. Renauld has collaborated with the owners of the Elvis Presley Estate, ABG, in creating a limited edition Elvis Collection of the Renauld Sixty-One sunglasses.
Named after the birthplace of Elvis and based on the original Renauld Sixty-Ones that Elvis wore during filming, the Elvis Tupelo sunglasses are crafted from cool chrome and UV400 DIVEL anti-glare grey lenses, engraved with Elvis’s signature on the temple arm and lens. Each pair of sunglasses is individually numbered and available with either 41mm or 45mm depth lenses. The sunglasses are presented in a blue bespoke handmade leather case embossed with Elvis Presley’s signature, the distinct Elvis logo and accompanied by a certificate of authentication from Renauld.

ELVIS COLLABORATION
Renauld and Elvis Presley Enterprises, owner of the Elvis Presley Estate, are proud to announce a collaboration to produce a special edition collection: Elvis by Renauld. The collection features four models: Elvis Tupelo, Elvis Tupelo Special, Elvis Vegas and Elvis Memphis.
The story has been told that Elvis wanted to purchase a pair of the new contemporary wraparounds and sent his security to buy them. When they returned to say they were sold out, he later spotted someone wearing the exact model in a crowd of fans seeking his autograph. After a brief negotiation between the owner and his security guard, the sunglasses changed hands for $100. Elvis wore them for at least the next two years, with the sunglasses becoming a signature part of his wardrobe. It was not long before the Renauld Sixty-Ones became the iconic sunglasses of the decade.
